The How, What & Why of iChill

Why does the world need iChill?

iChill is a non-narcotic way to relax. In fact, it's cooler than narcotics because those get you into trouble. Not that all narcotics are bad things, they're just not the answer for chilling moments.

What's in it?

Melatonin, valerian root, rose hips, B vitamins, water, and natural flavors.

What's not in it?

Carbs, calories, and sugar.

Who needs iChill?

Everyone. People with high-stress days. Energy drink fans that want to get off the jitters. People who have trouble sleeping. Dieters who can't stop stressing out about calories. People who get anxious or irritable while traveling... Have you ever had a crying infant sitting next to you for a 13 hour flight? Yeah, iChill is for you.

How does it work?

The melatonin, valerian root, rose hips and B vitamins combine for a natural relaxer. The Indians used it for generations.

What does it feel like?

It feels like you don't have a worry in the world. You're content in this place at this time.

How long does it chill you out?

That varies person to person.

Are there side effects?

No side effects except chilling. Unless you call a desire to be mellow and forget the day's stress a side effect.

Can you "overdose"?

We've never really tried. We don't recommend drinking more than two bottles of iChill a day, though.

What do doctors think about it?

They're jealous because the can't prescribe it, so they don't get the kick backs from the drug companies.

Does it interact with any medications?

Not that we know of.

Can you become dependent on it?

It is not addictive. Nor does it have any carbs, sugar or calories.

How do I know my risks of grogginess/inability to function?

This stuff works, so make sure you're sitting down and not operating any heavy machinery.

What does NOT mix well with iChill?

Annoying and aggravating people. Energy drinks, caffeine and that type of stuff. It won't harm your body, just mess up your chill.

Is this just a legal way to get stoned?

We don't think of that way. First you don't get the munchies, second you don't get paranoid that everyone else knows you're chill. Plus it doesn't smell and you can't get in trouble for it. You can drink this in front of a cop or a judge.

Can you suggest some great ways to chill out with iChill?

I like just kicking back on my porch and watching birds fly around my back yard. I can spend hours doing that. Everyone has their own thing. Some people like to sit on the beach, drink an iChill and let the waves hit their feet. Other people like to go to a park, just hang out on a bench and people watch. You should also take some hints from our page on relaxation tips.

What does it taste like?

Right now, iChill comes in Blissful Berry flavor, which tastes a bit like a concentrated mixture of blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries.

What if you mix it with alcohol?

That sounds like multi-tasking, which is not really chilling, now, is it?

Are you looking to make it in a full-can drink too?

Maybe, later on down the road. For now, our focus is on getting you to chill ASAP.

Are you developing other flavors?

Maybe, later on down the road.

Why wouldn’t I just take sleeping pills?

Pills work, but can also be very dangerous and habit forming. iChill is meant to be a safe, natural alternative to those sleep medications.

Long-term insomnia can be a serious condition and you need to be careful with sleeping pills. The most effective “miracle cure” is altering your lifestyle, diet, and developing a routine sleep cycle. iChill is there to help you relax and unwind, that’s step one to a good night’s rest.

You got any other tips for chilling out and sleeping better?

Sure (link to chill tips.) Create a peaceful environment for yourself. Try to cut off the TV for an hour or so before trying to sleep. Use that hour to “wind down” try reading a book or listening to some light music…think Jack Johnson not Metallica’s greatest hits.

How much sleep should I be getting a night?

According to most experts, there is no magic number on the hours of sleep needed per night. It all depends on factors such as your age, gender, and physical health condition, among other things. A good target is between 7-9 hours of sleep a night and regulating your sleep cycle by going to bed and waking up around the same time each day.

Is “chilling out” and resting just as good as sleep?

Chilling out helps your mind rest so you can reconnect with yourself and your friends and family. A good night's sleep physiologically repairs and restores your body. We know that to perform your best during the day you need both and ultimately you’ll be a healthier and happier person. iChill can help, believe us…you don’t even know what you’re missing.

I’ve gained some weight lately due to stress. Can iChill help?

Without trying to get too technical on you, long-term stress can cause the body to release a wide range of hormonal responses. In particular, stress can cause an increase of the hormone Cortisol, which has been known to lead to food cravings, a metabolism decrease, and heightened abdominal fat storage. While iChill can’t solve your stressful situations, it’s here to relax you and possibly take your mind away from those unhealthy patterns of “stress eating.”
